one league to rule them all...

The League of Geeks was started at Miami University of Ohio to bring the disparate sections of geek culture together and create unified events and branding to spread the word about the great things clubs were doing on campus. The League started with the idea of the Geek Symposium, an event to bring people together to learn about geek culture with special guests. This event evolved into RECON, the massive League annual event that has won Best Student Event from Miami University in 2016 and Event of the Year in 2018. At RECON 2020 we had over 900 attendees! Despite attempts to keep it low-key due to Covid-19, RECON 2022 had over 500 attendees! The League is now made up of 19 clubs, and our mission is simple: To unite the geeks of our campus, to put on great events for everyone in the community, and to show people what it means to be a geek!
